About Bath and Racquet Residences
Bath and Racquet Residences is a new condominium community on the former Bath and Racquet Club property at 2170 Robinhood Street, off South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota. The club opened in 1969, and Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova are among the players tied to its courts. The redevelopment held its ceremonial groundbreaking in April 2025 and pairs 256 condominiums in four buildings with a private racquet club, street-side retail space and a public park.
Residences come in more than 20 floor plans with one, two and three bedrooms plus penthouses, from about 700 to 1,950 square feet. Developer pricing runs from $499,000 for a one-bedroom to about $1.6 million. Residents have their own pool in the Courtyard building, and the club plan includes 12 tennis courts, eight pickleball courts, two padel courts, a fitness and wellness center, a heated pool and a restaurant. Club dues are separate from condominium assessments.
Siesta Key, St. Armands Circle and downtown Sarasota are each a short drive away. Because these are new homes sold by the developer, please call me before you contact the sales team or register online, so I can register you.

What is Bath and Racquet Residences?
It is a new condominium community on the site of the Bath and Racquet Club, a Sarasota tennis club that opened in 1969. The plan includes 256 one-, two- and three-bedroom condominiums and penthouses in four buildings, a private members club, street-side retail space and a public park.
What does the club offer?
The current plan calls for 12 tennis courts, including red clay, green clay and one air-conditioned indoor court, along with eight pickleball courts and two padel courts. The club also plans a fitness and wellness center with spa and recovery areas, a heated pool and a restaurant. Former ATP world No. 2 Tommy Haas is the club's global ambassador. The club is private with tiered memberships, and owners are offered the top tier, but club dues are separate from condominium assessments, so ask for the current membership terms before you sign.
Can I still buy new?
Yes. The developer is still selling residences. The ceremonial groundbreaking was in April 2025, and first move-ins are expected around the end of 2026. Please call me before you contact the sales team or register online, because most developers accept a buyer's own agent only when the agent registers the buyer on the first visit.
