Bay Plaza is a condominium and office building that overlooks the downtown Sarasota bayfront. It was designed in 1982 and is a recognizable part of the downtown skyline.
The architect was Tim Seibert, one of the original Sarasota School architects, and the building is known for stepped blocks that follow the property line, so it changes as you walk around it. Residences are mostly about 1,650 to 1,900 square feet. Prices over the last two years ran from about $850,000 to $1,400,000.
From the front door, Main Street restaurants and the bayfront walk are a short stroll, and the John Ringling Causeway leads to St. Armands Circle and Lido Beach.
