Harbour Heights is a census-designated community in northern Charlotte County on the northwest side of the Peace River, across the river from the city of Punta Gorda. It covers about 2.4 square miles, about 11 percent of it water, and it is laid out in more than a dozen platted sections. Homes use a Punta Gorda mailing address and the 33983 ZIP code.

The neighborhood has about 1,000 single-family homes, and about 360 of them are on the water. Many of the highest-valued homes are waterfront homes on Harbour Drive and Peace River Drive, with more waterfront homes on Voyageur Drive, San Marino Drive and Broadpoint Drive. Homes range from houses built in the late 1950s to new homes completed in recent years.

Harbor View Road connects Harbour Heights to I-75, about a mile to the southwest, and Deep Creek Elementary School is on Harborview Road. Downtown Punta Gorda is about 13 minutes away by car, Punta Gorda Airport about 15 minutes and Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers about 51 minutes.
