About Saddlestone at Star Farms
Saddlestone is the newest neighborhood inside Star Farms at Lakewood Ranch, in Manatee County. Forestar Group, the D.R. Horton company that develops Star Farms, broke ground in November 2024 on more than 570 acres beside Bourneside Boulevard and 44th Avenue East. Saddlestone adds about 1,300 homesites, and its first phase of 300 homesites is set along the land's natural features. With it, Star Farms covers nearly 1,300 acres and about 2,800 lots, making it the largest village in Lakewood Ranch.
D.R. Horton is the builder. It offers townhomes, paired villas and single-family homes, starting with three-bedroom townhomes of about 1,463 square feet and moving up to larger single-family plans. All homes are concrete block on the first and second floors, with a concrete party wall between attached homes, and each comes with quartz counters, stainless appliances and D.R. Horton's smart home system. The first Saddlestone homes were finished in 2025, and homes sold for about $304,000 to $905,000 in the last two years.
Owners share the Star Farms amenities: The Resort Club, The Palm Bar, Adventure Retreat, Cabana Corner and Junction Place, with a resort-style pool and spa, fitness and performance center, coffee shop, bar and restaurant, courts, a splash pad and pet parks. Star Farms association fees run about $250 to $360 a month with maintenance included. The Lakewood Ranch Premier Sports Campus is about a mile from Star Farms.

What are the HOA fees in Saddlestone?
