About Lakehouse Cove at Waterside
Lakehouse Cove at Waterside is a neighborhood of single-family homes in Waterside, Lakewood Ranch's first village in Sarasota County. It was one of the first Waterside neighborhoods to sell, alongside Shoreview, and it lies along Kingfisher Lake across the water from Waterside Place. Homes were built from 2018 to 2025 in phases recorded as Lakehouse Cove at Waterside phases 1 through 6.
Homes include lake and preserve lots. Builders included Lee Wetherington Homes, which opened its Mainstay model here; Arthur Rutenberg Homes, including custom homes; and Homes by Towne, with plans such as the Outrigger. That mix gives the neighborhood a wide spread of sizes and prices: homes sold for about $495,000 to $5.2 million in the last two years.
The Lakehouse Cove amenities center opened in 2020 on the shore of Kingfisher Lake, with a clubhouse, a fitness center, a pool with cabanas overlooking the lake, a kayak launch and boathouse, pickleball courts, a playground, a lakeside fire pit and an event lawn. Waterside Place, on a 36-acre peninsula across the lake, has restaurants, shops, an eight-acre park, trails and a splash park, and hosts the Farmers' Market at Lakewood Ranch and Ranch Nite Wednesdays. Ask the association for the current HOA fee and read the property tax bill for any non-ad valorem assessments before you commit.

Homes date from 2018 to 2025, so some builder warranty coverage may remain on many of them, and I can confirm that with the seller for you.

Lakehouse Cove sits along Kingfisher Lake across the water from Waterside Place, the Waterside town center, and its amenities center opened in 2020 on the Kingfisher Lake shoreline. Lakehouse Cove lies near Lorraine Road on the east side of Waterside, with Shoreview and Kingfisher Estates nearby.
