About Kingfisher Estates at Waterside
Kingfisher Estates is a neighborhood of 13 custom homesites on the banks of Kingfisher Lake in the Waterside area of Lakewood Ranch, in Sarasota County. The lots line Sunset Pines Drive, and the plat was recorded as Kingfisher Estates in Sarasota County Plat Book 56, Page 508. Waterside Place, the town center along the water's edge of Kingfisher Lake, has restaurants, shops, live music at The Plaza and a farmers market.
John Cannon Homes is the builder. Its plans run from the 3,608-square-foot Tindara and 3,744-square-foot Milina, both from $3,000,000, up to the 5,780-square-foot Oulina, the model at 7999 Sunset Pines Drive, from $4,800,000. Other plans include the Pindari, Pindari II, Newcastle, Korina, Victoria and Adelaide, most with three or four bedrooms plus a den and three- or four-car garages. Home sizes run from about 3,600 to 8,000 square feet on homesites of about a half acre to an acre, and the association fee is $330 a month.
Because every home is custom, buyers choose a homesite and a plan and then work through selections with the builder.
