About Coral Cove
Coral Cove is a neighborhood of 182 single-family homes in south Sarasota, ZIP 34231, minutes from the beaches of Siesta Key. The first homes were built in 1954, starting on Pandora Drive, and the canal on the north half came later.
Lots were sold from the start as bayfront, waterfront and interior, and the neighborhood still mixes all three. Homes sold in the last two years ran from about 1,400 to about 6,000 square feet, were built from 1954 to 2009 and sold for about $500,000 to about $4.95 million, so smaller older homes sit near large waterfront homes.
There are no deed restrictions. The voluntary Coral Cove Civic Association keeps a waterfront park with a dock and boat ramp for members, and maintains the entrance and common areas. If you plan to keep a boat, look closely at the dock, seawall and water depth on a specific home before you make an offer.
What to know before you buy in Coral Cove

Yes. The Coral Cove Civic Association keeps a waterfront park with a dock and boat ramp for its members, behind a park gate. Members pay yearly dues, and owners who launch boats pay a separate boating charge for park vehicle access.
Does Coral Cove have deed restrictions or a mandatory HOA?
No. Coral Cove has no deed restrictions, and the civic association is voluntary. Its dues cover the entrance landscaping, the park, the dock and boat ramp, and the common areas.
