Amara on Sarasota Bay is a new condominium on Golden Gate Point, the small peninsula on Sarasota Bay at the edge of downtown Sarasota. The Ronto Group is building a collection of 54 residences here, with views over Sarasota Bay and the downtown skyline.
Residences run from about 2,500 to over 3,700 square feet by the developer's measure. Plans include a city and bay view pool deck, a fitness center with spa rooms, a social lounge, a bayfront esplanade and a private marina, with slips set aside for owners to purchase. Asking prices on the residences for sale now run from about $3,995,000 to $7,250,000.
From Golden Gate Point, downtown restaurants, Selby Gardens and the bayfront parks are a short walk or bike ride, and the John Ringling Causeway leads to St. Armands Circle and Lido Beach. Because the final number and size of slips depend on permits, I will request the current slip plan and the condominium documents for you before you sign.
Where is Golden Gate Point?
Golden Gate Point is a short peninsula off U.S. 41 near the foot of the John Ringling Causeway in downtown Sarasota. Selby Gardens, downtown dining and the arts are close by, and St. Armands Circle and Lido Beach are across the bridge.
