About Ashcombe

  • Wellen Park High School opened in August 2026, a six-minute drive away.

Ashcombe is a townhome neighborhood in the middle of Wellen Park, the master-planned community in Venice in southern Sarasota County. D.R. Horton is the builder, and the homes line Tiger Lily Drive, where the sales center sits at number 10735. Ashcombe is now open, with its first townhomes built in 2026, and it offers low-maintenance townhome living with open-concept layouts and smart home features.

The townhomes are two stories with about 1,464 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a 1-car garage. The ground floor has an open kitchen and living area that leads to a back patio. Homes here have sold for about $250,000 to $268,000 in the last two years, with new homes still being built.

The neighborhood has a clubhouse and a resort-style pool of its own. Beyond it, Wellen Park adds about 30 miles of trails, an 80-acre activity lake, Downtown Wellen with its shops and restaurants, and CoolToday Park, the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves.
