About Country Club of Sarasota
The Country Club of Sarasota is a neighborhood of single-family homes in the Palmer Ranch area of south Sarasota, with its own homeowners association formed in 1975. It sits beside TPC Prestancia, and the club's Players Course was formerly The Country Club of Sarasota, which is where the neighborhood gets its name.
Homes were built from 1978 to 2004 and mostly run from about 2,400 to about 3,200 square feet. Homes sold for about $650,000 to $960,000 in the last two years.
TPC Prestancia is a private, non-equity club with two 18-hole courses over 565 acres. The Players Course is a classic design by Robert Von Hagge, and the Stadium Course was designed by Ron Garl and Mike Souchak. Clark Road, U.S. 41 and the beaches of Siesta Key are all a short drive away.
