Pulte Homes is the move-up brand of Atlanta-based PulteGroup, a company that traces its start to a single home Bill Pulte built in 1950. Pulte builds single-family homes, twin villas and some townhomes from a library of standard plans that buyers personalize with structural options and design selections, mostly in gated, amenity-rich new home communities. In the Sarasota and Manatee market it is selling in Parrish, Bradenton, Sarasota, Nokomis, Venice (Wellen Park), North Port and Englewood, and has announced EverCreek, a 1,000-home community in Lakewood Ranch. Published base prices run from the high $200,000s in North Port to more than $800,000 at Grandura in Sarasota. Most local communities include impact glass, and Pulte offers a 10-year limited structural warranty.
