About Mattamy Homes
Mattamy Homes is a large family-owned builder founded in Canada in 1978 that has worked in the Tampa-Sarasota region since 2013. Locally it is best known as the developer of Wellen Park in Venice, where it builds paired villas, coach homes and single-family homes, including the 55+ Brightmore neighborhood. In Manatee County it sells single-family homes and townhomes at Crosswind Ranch and Windwater in Parrish and single-family homes at Sanderling in Palmetto. Published base prices in this market run from about $270,000 for a Parrish townhome to about $726,000 for the largest Sunstone Lakeside plan. Homes are built from set floor plans with structural options and design selections, and most communities have furnished models and a good supply of quick move-in homes.
